Cari, my dear -
For everything you did with so much love... How do Bob and I ever thank you? You walked with us, shared our times of laughter, and held us close in hugs during times of confusion, challenge and sadness. You are, forever, our "family."
I know God will continue to bless you and the ministry of Garden Court.
With love and thanks -
Diane

Re: A HEARTFELT THANK YOU
Dear Cari:
I just wanted to express our deepest thanks to you and your staff for the care that you provided my mother over these past years. She lived to be 101 and your excellent, professional, kind and compassionate care gave her a comfortable environment to spend her last years.
I know the circumstances were difficult towards the end, but your staff maintained the same caring and professional attitude. I am in my 80s and caring for a disabled husband at home, and I rest assured knowing that my mother was in good hands with your staff.
We so often hear of cases of elder abuse in our society, but I would hope that every family could have the experience of the quality care and end-of-life hospice support that your facility provided to my mother. If I may ever be a reference to you future families considering your facility, please do not hesitate to have them contact me.
Sincerely yours,
Jean
Dear Cari,
You are, indeed, a blessing in our lives! We treasure you, your love, your caring and your infinite capacity of giving.
Here’s to great joy for all of us in 2012!
What a wonderful celebration you had for my mother’s birthday! She clearly enjoyed it very much. We are so grateful for the excellent care you give her. She has done so well.
Sincerely,
Jean
Dear Cari, Flery and Rita,
Thank you so much for inviting me to spend Thanksgiving with you all. The decorations were lovely and everything was delicious.
I must tell you how happy we are having discovered your home. We know John is getting excellent care, and from day one everyone has impressed us with the consideration and thoughtfulness shown to all of your residents.
Thank you again, Cari, Flery, Rita (and I can’t forget Myla.)
Sincerely,
Margie

To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter to document my experience with Cari Alexander and in support of her as a neighbor to my parents, who live on Poinsettia Avenue.
I first became acquainted with Cari when my father stayed in her Garden Court Residential Home in Foster City. Cari impressed me with her professionalism, knowledge and the quality of workers she hired, and most of all her genuinely caring nature. My father was at Garden Court from August 2010 to February of 2011, and I was very thankful that Cari made that experience as easy and positive as possible for both my father and my mother.
The proof of Cari’s good heart is that after my father moved back into his home with my mother, Cari continued to follow-up with offers of assistance and bringing by food and letting them know if they ever needed anything, they could call her.
Cari runs a very nice Residential Home in Foster City, and I can’t imagine that the neighbors would think it was anything other than a typical family residence. She keeps the place in very good condition, interior as well as the front yard and gardens. That was one of the many reasons I was happy that we placed my father there. It was like being at home.
I was very happy when I learned that Cari bought a house a few doors away from my parent’s home. She is a friendly, warm person, who is also very conscientious about the way she does things – a combination that will make her a great neighbor and a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.
This letter is unsolicited. I think very highly of Cari, and I wanted to express my deep appreciation and gratitude for the way she has interacted with my mother and father.
Very truly yours,
Teri
